Chapter Seven - Washington Square Park
Since July 2008, when I stayed at New York University’s Ruben Dormitory on 5th Avenue and 10th Street, Washington Square Park has been a place for me to unwind -  a refuge from the city, if only for ten minutes.  Because of those long summer days, I knew the park as well lit by the hot New York sun.  I’d watch men in suits using the area as a shortcut to get to work, summer students sprawled out...
